Steve Manning catches up with Justin Holbrook following St Helens exciting Good Friday win over Wigan and Steve Price gives his thoughts on Warrington claiming bragging rights against Widnes. Adrian chats to Jon Wilkin after Saints extended their advantage at the top of the Super League ladder with a win over Widnes while we look at who had a good and bad Easter in the Championship. Dave and Adrian chat all things London Broncos with skipper Jay Pitts and we get the latest from Kieron Purtill after the interim Leigh coach oversaw wins over Swinton and London over Easter.

 

The lads also cast a glance over League One too.

The Final Hooter (2018) - Episode 6

Adrian Jackson and Dave Parkinson are back with Episode 6 of our 2018 run.

In this episode we hear from Jake Mamo following Huddersfield's win at Widnes in the Betfred Super League.

We also hear from Denis Betts about him leaving his role in the England set-up.

Richard Marshall gives us the lowdown after Halifax defeated Leigh in the Betfred Championship and James chats with York City Knights boss James Ford after their close run win against Oldham in Betfred League One.

The guys also chat about Josh Charnley returning to Rugby League with Warrington and the banter sees Adrian drop in a football reference and we talk quickly about the draw for the fifth round of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.

The Final Hooter (2018) - Episode 5

A lot has happened in RL since the boys gave us their last update.

 

Adrian Jackson and Dave Parkinson host and we hear from Rhys Hanbury (Widnes), Steve Price (Warrington), Matt Diskin (Batley), Neil Kelly (Dewsbury), Paul Rowley (Toronto), John Duffy (Featherstone) and Kieron Purtill (Leigh) in this busy show that sees us reflect on possible Hearn involvement, England playing in Denver and Leigh's coaching casualty amongst other things.

The Final Hooter (2018) - Episode 4

Adrian and Dave return, Adrian battles through with a cold and has his first two rants of the season. Dave gives his opinion of Wigan and Hull playing each other 12000 miles from home.

We hear from Batley Bulldogs boss Matt Diskin following his side's 6-34 reversal at Leigh while Neil Jukes also gives us the Centurion perspective. From Round One we have audio from Richie Myler (Leeds) and Joe Mellor (Widnes) following good opening victories for both teams. 

The lads look at what has happened so far in the Super League and Championship, look forward to week one of the League One season, give reaction to the Challenge Cup draw and enjoy the banter.

The Final Hooter (2018) - Episode 1 - Preseason

Adrian Jackson and Dave Parkinson return with a ring-rusty edition of the Final Hooter.

Mainly concentrating this episode on Warrington and Widnes our pair discuss some of the pre-season going on and talk about where they think Widnes and Warrington will finish.

We hear from Steve Price after Warrington's 18-6 success over Salford at the weekend. Adrian chats to new halfback Tyrone Roberts and there is also an interview with former Warrington favourite Micky Higham who brought the curtain down on a 19 year career by playing in Leigh Centurions 14-22 loss to Wigan.

We also hear from Vikings Krisnan Inu and Chris Houston.

Dave Parkinson returns with the final podcast of the season. Here he looks at the World Cup Final for the men and women and goes over who won what domestically.

Adrian Jackson and Dave Parkinson are back with the Final Hooter podcast courtesy of Radio General - Warrington Hospital Radio.

In this episode the lads reflect as the dust settles on the Grand Final.

They talk Barrow and England, we hear from Castleford Tigers boss Daryl Powell and Leeds Rhinos head coach Brian McDermott.

Adrian also ventured on the England media day and chatted to Ben Currie (Warrington), Scott Taylor (Hull), Alex Walmsley (St Helens) and Jermaine McGillvary (Huddersfield).

There is also the usual banter between the pair.
