The Final Hooter Internationals 2019 - Full-time report

Dave and Adrian return to discuss Great Britain's losing tour, and highlight the lack of creativity amongst other issues. The pair discuss their thoughts and where things go for the Lions from here. 

Dave runs through the winners and clubs relegated this season throughout the pro and NCL ranks, talks the BARLA Three Counties Championship, Welsh Dragonhearts and England Community Lions. He then raves about the performances of NSW Country touring U16 and U18 sides and picks out who to look out for. He drops a name that he interviewed in the past and Adrian rekindles his admiration for Toronto Wolfpack.

The Final Hooter 2019 - Episode 27

Back for the final Final Hooter of the season, Adrian Jackson and Dave Parkinson host.

They look back over the BetFred Super League Grand Final. We hear from Justin Holbrook, Ian Watson, Mark Percival and Jackson Hastings.

We also hear from the BetFred Women's Super League Grand Final from winning coach Adam Cuthbertson and player of the match Fran Goldthorp.

Adrian and Dave talk international squads and selections and we catch up with one of the newest appointments in the game in Matt Diskin, appointed by Oldham last week.

The Final Hooter 2019 - Episode 26

Adrian and Dave get together for the first time in a couple of weeks to look back at the play-offs. The pair discuss the Salford rise, Wigan fall, Toronto winning their way to Super League, disappointment at Toulouse, Oldham joy and Newcastle heartache amongst other things.

Dave is in musical mood and looking forward to the finals with his plans from home while Adrian lets Widnes getting to this stage of the inaugural 1895 Cup Final get to his head.

He risks upsetting Canadian and Welsh folk alike and we have a discussion about silver salvers.

Amid the banter there are a few Challenge Cup memories and previous matches thrown in, a whirlwind look around the leagues and Steve Manning was our man posing the questions as we hear from Justin Holbrook, Steve Price, Johnny Lomax and Toby King.

The Final Hooter 2019 - Episode 22

A bumper episode this time out with Coral Women's Challenge Cup Final reaction from Castleford Head Coach Lindsay Anfield, Leeds Rhinos Head Coach Adam Cuthbertson, skipper Courtney Hill and players Danika Priim and Danielle Anderson in the wake of a superb cup final.

We also hear from Army star centre Carrie Roberts after their Challenge Shield defeat of York City Knights, speaking about the game and also her service to the country. 

Steve Price and Chris Hill give their reaction to beating Hull in the first Coral Challenge Cup Semi-Final, while Justin Holbrook and Kyle Amor chat to Steve Manning and Adrian respectively after the Saints defeated brave Halifax.

Dave enjoyed the company of Sheffield Eagles coach Mark Aston after the Eagles AB Sundecks Semi-Final win over Batley Bulldogs while Adrian caught up with Kieron Purtill and Jack Owens after Widnes Vikings also made their way to Wembley after knocking Leigh Centurions out.

The pair also discuss the then breaking news of Matty Smith signing for Warrington and Adrian tries to have a dig at Leeds Rhinos with Dave taking him to task.

We hear from Richard Marshall about life at St Helens, he previews the Challenge Cup Semi-Finals. We also hear from Simon Grix following Halifax big win over Widnes. Ian Watson and Daryl Powell both give their thoughts after wins against Warrington for Salford and Castleford respectively. 

We look back at League One, mention Toronto's trophy and Dave chatted to England Youth Coach Danny Wilson after their 36-12 win over France and Wigan Women's Kris Ratcliffe after his sides 20-16 win at Bradford.

Richard Horne gives Dave an update after Doncaster defeated Coventry in League One a couple of weeks ago.

John Kear gives his marks out of ten to Adrian following the Bradford Bulls 62-0 defeat of Widnes.

John Duffy was an altogether less comfortable figure after Leigh's narrow AB Sundecks 1895 Cup success over Barrow.
