Leigh Centurions recently announced the loan capture of promising Castleford halfback Ryan Brierley in addition to one time Widnes loose forward Chris Gerrard.

Talking Points Dave Parkinson caught up with starlet Brierley who has been with Castleford for the last two and a half years to find out more about him and his move to Leigh.

In our penultimate podcast of 2011 Dave interviews Bob Beswick about his move to Leigh, career highlights, representing Ireland and the recent Limerick international, Adrian chats to Elliott Kear and we get an insight into the type of interviews conducted around Australian Super Stars as Darius Boyd answered plenty of questions thrown at him by the Aussie media after Australias international win over Wales.

Dave and Adrian also look back on a comprehensive England win over New Zealand, reflect on a disappointing series for the Kiwis, commend Darren Lockyer on a wonderful career and look forward to his last stand as the Green and Golds take on England at Elland Road in the Four Nations Final.

Dave and Adrian are back and whilst the domestic game is in mothballs save for players and clubs announcing arrivals and departures. The international game is in full flow. In this edition Adrian caught up with Sam Thaiday (Australia) and Jason Nightingale (NZ) after their Four Nations opening game at Warrington. On Saturday Adrian also got reaction from Steve McNamara and Iestyn Harris and England and Wales played before a packed house at Leigh.
