Talking Points Episode 26
Saturday Jul 09, 2011
Saturday Jul 09, 2011
Dave and Adrian return for more topical chat and go through the happenings in the NRL and Europe. We hear from Widnes wing Paddy Flynn on his side's closer-than-close victory over Hunslet Hawks, Leigh Centurions skipper Stuart Donlan joins us to tell of his upcoming three month testimonial from the RFL and Paul Cullen tells us all about the perils and pitfalls of trying to recruit overseas players in the current marketplace. Please note that our recording was made before several of the news stories this week broke so there is no mention of Nigel Wright leaving Barrow or bans for the Crusaders seven, or even Chris Hill's move from Leigh to Warrington. We are trying to get a topical guest on the show next week and a future episode will hopefully bring to life the Northern Rail Cup Final. We've still got several things planned to keep the show ahead of the competition but ultimately we hope you enjoy listening. If you would like to have your say, please give your opinion on the loverugbyleague facebook page or forum or tweet Dave on twitter: @DParkyRL. Or if you feel you can contribute, please get in touch, tell us how you think Halifax and Leigh are travelling, tell us all about Wigan's busy week, have Hull Kingston Rovers finally turned the corner?
